Polysorbate 20 is a powerful solubilizer that enables oil-based ingredients to dissolve in water-based formulas. It is particularly used for incorporating essential oils, fragrance oils, and lipophilic actives into clear formulas. It provides stability in toners, body sprays, and cleansers.
