Features and Uses: It is generally used in skincare products for its moisturizing and soothing properties. It is a translucent emulsion that allows the incorporation of moisturizing natural oils into the aqueous phase. Thanks to the Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Argan Oil it contains, it nourishes, moisturizes, and prevents moisture loss from the skin.
Physical Structure: It is generally clear or slightly yellowish in color. However, it may show tonal differences depending on the plant extracts used. It may have a faint herbal scent, but the scent disappears when mixed with other components. The viscosity of Aqua Phytoplex is higher than water.
Recommended pH range: It generally has a stable structure within the pH range of 4.5 - 7.0.
Solubility: It is a water-based solution, therefore it is easily soluble in water and water-based components. Its solubility is low in oil-based components.
Recommended usage rate: It can be used in a wide variety of formulations such as creams, toners, serums, cleansers, gel creams, sprayable products, sheet masks, and make-up removers. It is generally used at 1% - 5%. A concentration of 1% is sufficient for soothing and moisturizing effects. Up to 5%, it can be used for skin barrier repair or to maintain skin balance.
