Obtained from the fruit, seed, and kernel of the plant by hot or cold pressing method. Cold pressing is preferred because in the hot method, vitamins, minerals, and other health-benefiting substances in the oil are destroyed. Cold-pressed oils contain higher quality and a higher proportion of active ingredients.
