Features and Applications: It is a unique natural, PEG-free, non-ionic emulsifier that provides an exceptional skin feel and improves skin smoothness, emollience, and moisture levels. In oil-only balm and stick formulations, it reduces sweating, blooming, and cracking. It gives the structure a smooth, shiny appearance. It has a thickening property. It increases the stability of water-in-oil emulsions.
Physical Form: It is a white or off-white, powdered form. Its odor is neutral.
Recommended pH range: It remains stable between pH 4.0 - 8.0.
Solubility: Insoluble in water, but soluble in oil.
Recommended Usage Rate: It can be used at 0.5-3% in facial creams, body lotions, make-up products, balms and sticks, hair conditioners and masks, and at 1-2% in formulations such as day and night care products, make-up primers, and peeling products.
