Properties and Uses: It is generally used in cosmetics and personal care products as a thickener, emollient, emulsifier, and stabilizer. In solid products such as balms, sticks, and lipsticks, it provides a brighter and smoother appearance. It prevents sweating, blooming, and cracking. This compound stabilizes formulations by combining water and oil-based components. Sucrose Tetrastearate Triacetate has a moisturizing effect in formulations. It helps to retain moisture in the skin for a long time. It also makes the skin look smoother.
