Features and Uses: It has oil-absorbing, mattifying, surface modifying, and thickening properties. It reduces shine on the skin and makes the skin appear smoother. Silica Valvance adds consistency to formulations and strengthens the structure of products. It also helps oil-based ingredients mix with water-based ingredients. It is preferred in makeup products, sunscreens, and skincare masks.

Recommended pH range: Stable between pH 4.0 - 7.0.

Solubility: Insoluble in water, but soluble in oil.

Recommended usage rate: Silica Valvance is used at 1-5% in mattifying creams, moisturizing products, makeup primers, powders, and hair care products. For skincare products, serums, day creams, night masks, a usage rate of 1-2% is recommended, for skin mattifying, 5-10% is used, especially in powders and makeup products, providing an intense mattifying effect.
