Why Should You Make Cream at Home?

Required Materials (for ~100g)
Oil Phase
- Olivem 1000 — 5% (alternative: Cetearyl Alcohol 50:50, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate)
- Cetearyl Alcohol 30:70 — 3% (alternative: Glyceryl Stearate)
- Shea Butter — 8% (alternative: Mango Butter, Avocado Butter, Cocoa Butter)
- Avocado Oil — 5% (alternative: Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Jojoba Oil)
- CCT — 5% (alternative: Coco-Caprylate, Rice Bran Oil)
- Vitamin E — 0.5%
Water Phase
- Distilled water — 68.2%
- Hyaluronic Acid — 1% (alternative: Sodium Lactate, Aqua Phytoplex)
- Provitamin B5 — 1%
- Allantoin — 0.3%
- Glycerin — 3% (alternative: Pentylene Glycol)
Cool-Down Phase
- Botanical Preservative LEXGARD NATURAL — 1% (alternative: Microcare DB, SharoSENSE 785)
Production Process
- Prepare the oil phase: Heat all oil phase components to 70–75°C, stirring until completely melted.
- Prepare the water phase: Heat distilled water to 70–75°C, add allantoin and glycerin, and dissolve.
- Make the emulsion: Slowly add the water phase to the oil phase, stirring continuously.
- Cool: Continue stirring until cooled to 40–45°C.
- Cool-down phase: Add hyaluronic acid, Provitamin B5, and the preservative.
- pH control: pH should be between 5–6.
- Fill into container: Fill into a sterile jar or tube.
